Prophoto Academy courses cater for photographers of all ages and abilities. However, they are specifically designed for serious amateur, freelance and professional photographers, rather than complete beginners. As a result, all delegates should be reasonably confident in the operation of their present photographic equipment and have at least a basic understanding of computers.
Please feel free to contact us by e-mail or telephone for a friendly discussion on the detailed course content if you are unsure about your present level of technical ability.
Course Delegate Numbers:
To ensure the utmost in individual personal tuition, course numbers are restricted to no more than twelve delegates.
Prices
All prices are quoted in GB pounds sterling and inclusive of VAT at the standard rate. We provide a UK company VAT invoice for all bookings so that if appropriate, you can reclaim this amount as a legitimate business expense. The local currency in Portugal is the Euro.
Payment:
A deposit of £100.00 is required to reserve a place on one of the courses. Payment may be made by cheque or credit/debit card on-line via our secure server, which will be available shortly. Written confirmation of this booking will be sent to you. The balance of the course fee is due 60 days prior to the start of the course. To comply with Package Travel Regulations, all delegates' payments will be paid into a Trust Account pending completion of the course.
Hotel & Accommodation
Our venue throughout the series, is the superb four star Hotel Garbe and full details of the hotel and its facilities can be found on their web site. Half board accommodation is included for seven nights and on the basis of double occupancy of a twin room. Single room occupancy is available at a small nightly surcharge; the amount depending upon the type of room. Please indicate on the booking form if you require a single room and we will prepare an individual quotation.
Also included are our special Welcome and Farewell dinners with wine. Afternoon tea and biscuits will also be served on the days we are in the hotel for classroom work.
Travel
In these days of budget airlines and with the volatility of prices in the travel market generally, we feel it is best for delegates to make their own travel arrangements to the hotel. However we have an association with a recognised travel agent and can help on booking flights etc. if required. We can also help and advise on transfers to and from the hotel and airport, so do please contact us to discuss both travel and general arrangements for the course.
Special Needs:
Please inform us if you have any special dietary needs or other requirements.
